It’s Black History Month again, a perfect time to take stock of the immensely talented young Canadians of black heritage holding it down here when it comes to music.

As part of HuffPost Canada's ongoing Asking Y series on the social, financial and cultural issues surrounding Generation Y, we've assembled a list of 15 black millennial musicians and singers.
