City of Vancouver sanitation workers say they believe the department's hiring manager was aware of Hells Angel Ronaldo Lising's background, and had been familiar with some of Lising's former East End chapter associates.

And according to leaked documents obtained by The Province, Lising's hiring occurred in a toxic workplace plagued by distrust of managers and allegations of favouritism in human resources.
